**Position Filled**FT Nanny Needed in Greenwich Village

An active, fun, and loving family in Greenwich Village are seeking a proactive, energetic, and nurturing nanny for their two children, 2 years old (g) and almost 4 months old (b).  

The general schedule 7:30 am - 6:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Flexibility is for occasional overnights and travel is needed. The family has a house in the Hamptons they visit approximately 50% of the weeks over summer, and they travel domestically and internationally, a couple of times a year. 

 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Engaging the children in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate play and interaction. 

  • Preparing bottles, bottle feedings, diaper changes, and sterilization of bottles.

  • Taking the children to classes, the park, activities, and coordinating playdates. 

  • Children’s laundry and keeping the child’s room, kitchen, and main spaces clean and tidy.

  • Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (walking, eating solids, sleep/potty training) 

  • Helping to set & keep the children on a schedule (regular feedings, play, exercise, naps) 

  • Restocking child-related items and the diaper bag.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant FT nanny experience with multiples and will be engaging, upbeat, compassionate, open, honest, knowledgeable about child development, and enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s curiosity and interests.

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant FT nanny experience.

  • Ability to travel. 

  • Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

  • Clean background check.

  • Able to commit to at least one year.

  • 2-3 relevant references. 

  • Vaccinated 

  • Must know how to swim in the family’s pool in the case of emergency 

  • The ability to drive for the summers in the Hamptons is a strong preference.

 

Salary: $32.00 - 35.00 gross hourly depending on experience and credentials. 

Benefits: PTO: 2 weeks of vacation, major holidays, 5 sick days per year, and others such as a healthcare stipend can be negotiated.
