Position Filled - Overnight Newborn Care Provider / NCS / or Postpartum Doula

A tight-knit family in Old Westbury, Long Island, seeks a live-in Newborn Care Specialist for a 2-month contract that begins when the baby arrives at the end of July through the end of September.
NCS certification is not required, and candidates with nanny and Doula experience in conjunction with overnight newborn care are encouraged to apply.
The schedule is 14 hours a day, from 6 pm - 8 am.
This position is best suited for a candidate who is genuinely comfortable with a nocturnal schedule. The family requests the childcare provider to remain awake to keep an eye on the baby and the monitor during their shift.
There are 10 hours allotted for the NCS to sleep and rest during the day from 8 am - 6 pm.
Job responsibilities include bringing the baby to the mother to breastfeed throughout the night, bottle sterilizing, baby laundry, emptying diaper bin, changing baby sheets, and everything related to the newborn’s care.
Must be able to adapt to the baby's needs, maintain a high level of personal hygiene, and start and finish each shift with everything in its place for the baby.
The candidate should expect to quarantine before the start date and remain quarantined with the family throughout the contract.
5+ years of overnight newborn care experience
Newborn CPR and First Aid Certification completed within the past 5 years.
Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
Clean background check.

Salary: + / - $450 per day.
Employers will provide food and basic expenses allowance.
