An active and welcoming family on the Upper East Side seeks an experienced and engaging nanny for their twin boys, ages 1.5. The position starts as soon as possible.

This schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. 

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant FT nanny experience with infants and multiples and will be playful, engaging, proactive, honest, organized, safety conscious, knowledgeable about child development, enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s interests, and have excellent communication skills and excellent references.

Summers are spent in the Hamptons, Monday through Friday. A private bedroom and bathroom are provided for the nanny. 

 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Engaging and stimulating the child/children with fun and age-appropriate activities.

  • Diaper changes.

  • Bottle feedings and sterilization of equipment.

  • Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (walking, eating solids, sleep/potty training, learning to read) 

  • Meal preparation (vegetarian).

  • Helping to maintain the children’s nap and eating schedules. 

  • Children's laundry. 

  • Restocking child-related items and the diaper bag.

  • Walks, reading, indoor and outdoor play. 

  • Keeping the main spaces of the home/s and the children’s room clean and tidy.

The family has a medium size dog that the nanny will not be responsible for.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant FT nanny experience.

  • Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

  • Clean background check.

  • Able to commit to at least a year. 

  • 2-3 valid references. 

  • CPR certified or willing to get it renewed. 

  • Covid vaccinated and boosted.

Plus: the ability to drive for the summers in the Hamptons would be a plus, but it’s not a requirement.

Salary: Approximately $32.00 - $45.00 gross hourly, depending on experience and credentials.
