A Nanny Match Jobs

A tight-knit, professional, and loving family in Tribeca seeks an experienced and engaging full-time nanny for their two children, ages 2 years old (g) and a newborn (b) on the way in July! 

The family will have a Newborn Care Specialist for the first few months after the newborn arrives. The two-year-old child (g) will attend school in September when the NCS leaves, and the nanny will be responsible for both children. 

This schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm, with some flexibility needed for occasional date nights. 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to; 

• Engaging the child/children with fun and age-appropriate activities. 

• Supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (walking, eating solids, sleep/potty training, learning to read) 

• Meal preparation. 

• Diaper changes. 

• Bottle feedings and sterilization of equipment. 

• Helping to maintain the children’s nap and eating schedules. 

• Children's laundry. 

• Restocking child-related items and the diaper bag. 

• Walks, reading, indoor and outdoor play. 

• Keeping the main spaces of the home and the children’s room clean and tidy. 

• Travel with the family. The family is based in NYC and takes approximately 3 to 5 trips domestically or internationally per year. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience with children ages infancy and up and will be proactive, responsible, warm, engaging, honest, organized, patient, safety-conscious, knowledgeable about child development, enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s interests and have excellent communication skills and excellent references. Fluency in a second language, such as Spanish, is a plus but not required.

Requirements:

Ability to travel overseas 3-4 times a year. 

3+ years of relevant FT nanny experience. 

Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

Clean background check. 

Passport ready. 

Able to commit to at least a year. 

2-3 valid references. 

CPR certified or willing to get it renewed. 

Covid vaccinated and boosted. 

Must be comfortable around cute dogs. The family has a French Bulldog. 

Salary: $32-35.00 gross per hour.
