A Nanny Match Jobs

A bustling family is in Port Washington, NY seeking an active, energetic, and proactive FT live-in nanny. The children are 6.5 years old and 3.5 years old. 

The preferred start date is December 26, 2022. 

The general schedule is approximately 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The day would start at 7:00am to help kids to school, downtime and light housekeeping when kids are in school till 1 pm (will be 4 pm in summer), followed by after school activities, dinner, bed etc. till 7:30 pm.

Private accommodations are provided for the nanny which include a private bedroom with a full bed, closets, and a private bath in a separate area of the house for privacy.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to everything relating to the children’s care and well-being: 

• Getting the children ready for school (assist with waking them and getting them dressed and fed)

• Child-related chores, including dishes & laundry, and keeping the children's rooms and the main spaces clean and tidy.

• Engaging and stimulating the children with age-appropriate activities.

• Assisting with homework help.

• Taking the children to classes and activities and attending playdates. 

• Child related errands.

• Meal and snack preparation for the child. 

• Must be experienced with cooking for those with allergies or dietary aversions. (mother and daughter have food allergies)

• Serving meals to the children.

• Restocking child-related items.

• Planning and arranging activities.

• Occasional travel with the family. 

The ideal candidate will have 5 + years of relevant FT nanny experience with strong references.

They will proactively engage the children with age-appropriate activities and will be warm, loving, positive, supportive,  fun, friendly, trustworthy, honest, reliable, proactive, discreet, professional, a great communicator, and seeking a long term position for many years to come. 

It will be helpful if the nanny  swims as they have a pool in the backyard and also likes dogs, as the family may get one in the future. 

The children will be in school until 1:00 PM. The family needs a nanny who can spend time doing light housekeeping while the children are in school.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant nanny experience.

• Ability to travel Domestically. (International travel is not required but a plus)

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

• 2-3 strong relevant references.

• COVID Vaccinated and boosted.

• Flu Shot. 

• Experience cooking for people with dietary restrictions.

• Comfortable in the pool.

Weekly salary: Approximately $1500 + (or higher) based on a 60 + hour work schedule. Also,  based on the credentials and agreed upon job responsibilities.
