Seeking an experienced and professional live-in weekend nanny for a family on the UES with one child. 

The general schedule is from Friday evening until early Monday morning.

Flexibility for travel, holidays, and occasional fill-in for the weekday nanny is needed.

The right candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience and is active, energetic, patient, calm, flexible with scheduling needs, punctual, organized, loving, engaging, honest, safety-conscious, genuinely loves working with children, and is seeking a long-term weekend position.

A private bedroom and bathroom are provided for the nanny.

 

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate play and interaction. 

  • Coming up with fun, creative, and engaging activities.

  • Going to the park, classes, playdates. 

  • Maintaining the child’s routines and schedule.

  • Child’s laundry.

  • Healthy meal preparation for the child. 

  • Reading to the child.

  • Bedtime routine.

  • Keeping the child’s room and the main spaces clean and tidy.

The family travels several times a year and will need the nanny to travel with them. 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant nanny experience.

  • Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

  • 2-3 relevant references. 

  • Flexibility with the schedule.

  • Ability to commit to working weekends long term. 

  • Occasional availability on weekdays.

  • Ability to travel. 

  • Experience working in a HNW household. 

Compensation: Approximately $140,000 per year. Overtime compensation starts after 44 hours and additional OT for hours worked on weekends, travel, and holidays.
