#484 - Full-Time Nanny Needed in Boston, MA

Warm, welcoming and bustling family of five seeks a Full-time Newborn/Infant Nanny for their daughter, currently 9 weeks old, in Brookline, MA starting at the end of August/beginning of September.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00am - 4:00pm, guaranteed 40 hours per week, though most likely will be working 45 hours. Some flexibility, as needed.

The right candidate will be warm, nurturing, communicative, engaging, dedicated, easy-going, attentive, and proactive.

Someone with positive and calming energy who will prioritize the baby’s well being and development, work as a team with the parents and within the household, think proactively, has great communication skills, and seek a long term position to grow with the family. 

The family also has two school-aged boys, ages 8 & 10, who will have their own separate caretaker. This position will focus primarily on the infant and all infant responsibilities.


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Maintaining the infant’s schedule (e.g., naps, feedings, tummy time, etc).

  • Diaper changes, dressing the infant, and supporting and maintaining healthy hygiene.

  • Bottle feedings and wash/sterilize bottles.

  • Making purees, introducing solids, and general meal preparation for the baby.

  • Taking the baby for walks. 

  • Reading and talking to the child.  

  • Taking the lead in supporting the achievement of age-appropriate milestones (talking, walking, eating solids, etc.)

  • Engaging the child in and coming up with fun, age-appropriate activities and outings.

  • Keep a daily communication log with the parents and share updates as needed

  • Child-related chores, including infant’s laundry, folding and putting away her clothes, keeping the infant’s room and main spaces clean and tidy, restocking the diaper bag and stations, etc.


  • 3+ years of relevant experience as a FT nanny with infants

  • Extensive experience with newborns

  • Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

  • 2-3 Valid references. 

  • CPR certification or willing to get it renewed

  • Tdap, Covid, Flu, vaccinated. 

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Must like or feel comfortable around cats, the family has two sweet cats who primarily keep to themselves.

  • Has their own reliable car, guaranteed parking spot will be provided by employer


Compensation: $28.00-$32.00 gross per hour DOE. Guarantee of 40 hours per week, but willing and able to work 45 hrs per week. Overtime will be paid at 1.5x.

Benefits: 10 paid vacation days, 5 sick/personal days, major holidays off. Other benefits can be negotiated for the right candidate.
