A Nanny Match Jobs

A tight-knit and welcoming family in Dumbo, Brooklyn, is seeking an upbeat, warm, and experienced nanny for their two children, ages 5 years old (b) and 3 years old (g). 

The general schedule is Monday through Friday from around 12:00 pm - 6:30 pm with one date night per week, preferably Thursdays, until around 11/11:30 pm. 

The family can guarantee 40 hours a week for a candidate seeking a full-time schedule. 

The ideal candidate will be warm, attentive, active, energetic, engaging, creative, and organized. Someone who loves working with children, especially toddlers and school-aged, and is knowledgeable about child development. 

Mom and Dad both work FT and WFH.

Job responsibilities include but aren’t limited to everything related to keeping the children safe and engaged;

• Engaging the children in fun and active age-appropriate educational activities.

• Picking the children up from school (10 min walk from the home).

• Taking the children to activities, parks, and playdates.

• Children’s laundry.

• Meal preparation.

• Getting them ready for bed. 

• Reading.

• Help keep the main spaces clean and tidy.

Family Assistant Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

• Restocking household items.

• Family laundry.

• Running errands.

• Picking up groceries.

• Assistance with the organization of the home.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of relevant nanny experience.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S. 

• Clean background check.

• 2-3 excellent references. 

• Covid Vaccinated 

Salary: $27.00- $35.00 an hour, depending on experience and credentials.

Benefits: PTO: 10 days of vacation, 5 sick days, paid major holidays, and an MTA reimbursement.
